What was discussed with my neurologist on 7/23
Based on the results of blood tests, my doctor has expressed doubts about my diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS). My physical characteristics don’t align with what is considered normal or typical for people with MS.
My blood tests revealed chromosome irregularities, specifically “Leukodystrophy”, a group of rare, genetic neurological disorders that affect the brain’s white matter. Most commonly, leukodystrophy is attributed to genetic mutations that compromise the body’s ability to synthesize, sustain, proteins or fats for healthy myelin.
I don’t know yet whether chromosomes can be treated or alters or what.
As soon as my insurance says ok (pays for it) Here are some of the interesting things I will be doing, learning and more. I so wish Bill Marcus was still alive. We had great medical talks.
Tests needed about ALZ:
A PET scan amyloid deposits.
A meeting with a neuropsychologist for memory testing, partially online and partially in person -Triangle Neuropsychiatry.
Unusual findings about the chromosomes which is why I don’t have MS
Leukodystrophy effects may include difficulties with balance and mobility, muscle stiffness or weakness, sensory changes, and cognitive or speech impairments.

Note: Other than forgetting what I am talking about mid sentence, I am fine. My joke was soon it wouldn’t matter who was president—until I decided that I want more time with my brain so I couldn’t think about that.
